Trust Student Account is a savings account specifically designed for students below twenty five (25) years of age. The account aims to promote financial inclusion among students and provide convenient banking services with attractive benefits and educational support facilities.

How to Open a Bank Account

Opening a new bank account with TBL is simple. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Eligibility

  • Need to be a student.
  • Account holders must be citizens of Bangladesh.
  • Account Operating Authority:
    • Student under 18 years of age: With the assistance of Parent / Legal Guardian
    • Students aged 18–25 years: Self

Step 2: Documents Required

For Students

  • Student’s Birth Certificate or National ID (NID) 
  • Institutional ID Card, Certificate issued by the educational institution, or latest monthly school/college fee payment receipt (attested photocopy) 

For Parents / Legal Guardians (Applicable for Students Under 18 Years)

  • National ID (NID) 
  • Proof of Source of Funds 
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN), if available 
  • Utility Bill (e.g., electricity, gas, water, or internet bill) 
  • Any other documents as required by the management. 

Step 3: Transaction Limits

  • Student Under 18 years of age:
    • Monthly withdrawal limit through ATM card, POS & online channels: BDT 15,000
    • Limit can be extended up to BDT 25,000 upon request from parent / legal guardian
    • Maximum Monthly Deposit: BDT 25,000
    • Account Balance shall not exceed BDT 300,000 at any time
  • Students aged 18–25 years:
    The transaction limit shall be determined as per student's KYC/TP.
